The sale of JioPhone Next will be started before Diwali. Before the sale, the key specifications and features of the phone have been made public through a short video teaser. It has been teased about JioPhone Next that this optimized will work on the Android-based Pragati operating system.
The phone has been prepared in partnership with Google and this phone will be equipped with Qualcomm processor. Talking about other features, these include Voice Assistant, Read Aloud, Translate, 13-megapixel rear camera and preloaded Google, Jio apps. The design of JioPhone Next is revealed in this short video.
In the video, information has been given about the construction of JioPhone Next and its key features before launch. This is Jio's first smartphone which has been designed in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. This Android phone will work on Pragati OS, which has been specially designed for Indian customers.
This new operating system has been claimed to provide optimum performance while ensuring longer battery life. JioPhone Next will receive automatic software upgrades.
In the video, the JioPhone Next can be viewed from different angles, including a micro USB port, touch buttons, and a 13-megapixel camera sensor that is housed in a capsule-shaped rear camera module. A flash is also located under the sensor in the module. Talking about the rear camera features, these will include Portrait Mode, Night Mode and preloaded custom India-Augmented Reality Filters. The smartphone flaunts a dotted textured back panel, rear speakers and bezels around the display. Selfie camera is also shown with flash support.
In addition, JioPhone will come with Next Voice Assistant that will help users operate the smartphone with voice commands, such as "open app" and "manage settings". The phone also has a 'Read Aloud' feature, which reads the content on-screen for the users. With its help, users can listen to any type of content in their preferred language. The Jio Phone Next 'Translate' function is also provided, which translates the text into any other language for the users.
As we mentioned, JioPhone is equipped with Next Qualcomm processor, but which chip will be that is not clear at the moment. Through the recently surfaced Google Play Console listing, it was indicated that this phone will be equipped with Snapdragon 215 (QM215) processor. The company has not given the exact price information of JioPhone Next. But according to the leaks that have come out, then its price will be Rs 3,499.
